The Copenhagen Accord

As COP 15 came to an end The Copenhagen Accord was formulated by leaders of a number of key countries. Sort of a letter of intent, showing that the participating countries expressed a strong political will to urgently combat climate change, and a common understanding of the need to cooperate but with no clear timetable or targets. While COP 15 was a disappointment on many fronts, Vattenfall 's strategy remains the same: we are focused on Making Electricity Clean, and that means climate neutral operations no later than 2050.
